I know I haven’t posted and that’s cuz I’m lazy…and forgetful…and no one really goes here anyways…and no one comments…so basically I’m just blogging to myself…wow I just killed my self esteem…darn. Anyways I just read a pretty great manga that was not only funny but had a compelling story too. The manga’s name is GTO, or Great Teacher Onizuka. There is both a manga and an anime AND…a prequel so it must good…and it is, it is one of the highest rated mangas in Japan…IN JAPAN!
Anyways, on with the review
Eikichi Onizuka is one of the toughest bikers out there. I’m not talking about a wimpy bicycle, I’m talking about a motorcycle. Although he was in a gang, he mostly does what he wants becuase he has a true heart. One day, he realizes that the best place to get young girls is at a school so he decides to become a highschool teacher! Unfortunately he can only get an assistant job and has to work his way to the top. Along the wawy, he has to survive a class of kids that has been known for bullying teachers…Will he survive?
Comedy: 9 (It’s very funny at times although it is more adult)
Romance: 6 (Quite a bit although it’s more of Onizuka’s quest for females)
Violence: 9 (Also quite a lot)
I definitely recommend this, even if the drawings seem like a much older style, you’ll get used to it. The story takes many twists and turns and is in fact so well made that it seems pretty realistic (although to the extreme).

Yeah, sounds weird doesn’t it? It’s actually not, it’s just the name of a band. I don’t know if you’ll like them they are kind of…different. Well, here’s my only favorite song from them, called Aluminum city. It’s a great Instrumental, they should do more like that.

Possibly the best synthesizer that doesn’t just use a music making program (with synth tools of course). This guy has amazing skills with the keyboard and making beats.
